Northern Lights

I have not one but two features in today’s Marin Independent Journal. First up is a story examining the future of the Fringe of Marin festival after the death of founder Annette Lust, and then a chat with Ann Brebner about breaking new ground in playwriting at the age of 90 with The Dead Girl at AlterTheater, and about her many years in Marin theater.
Frayed Fringe

The Fringe of Marin has been going on for 30 seasons up at San Rafael’s Dominican University, run by Annette Lust of the SF Bay Area Critics Circle and often having its plays nominated for that organization’s annual awards, so I thought it was high time that I checked it out. And, well, that happened. You can read all about it in today’s Marin Independent Journal.
